But one of the most life-changing moments happened in a classroom, not a kitchen: he met Regina in culinary school. Together, they started with one product: Chef Flavas Spinach Artichoke Dip. Born in their kitchen and shared at pop-ups, events, and family gatherings, this creamy, tangy, garlicky, and cheesy dip quickly became a local sensation. Its bold Flava laid the foundation for what would become a fast-rising brand. In an astonishing six months after launching their business, Chef Flavas secured a deal with Walmart, placing their signature dip on retail shelves - a monumental milestone that marked the start of their national presence. It was a clear signal: the world was ready for Flava. With momentum growing, they opened Chef Flavas Restaurant in Bartlett, TN - a vibrant space known for its signature stuffed egg rolls, soulful Southern breakfasts, and elevated comfort food.
